Princess singing
Started singing to myself as we're getting ready this morning and Addi joins in with her own little melody. Then she turns to me and says, "Mommy, we sing like princesses." Yep Addi, that's the goal!;)

Time-out
I just dropped an entire glass pitcher of koolaid on the floor. The glass shattered and there was koolaid all over. Addi says "Uh oh! Mom needs a time-out!" Yes. I think I do!

Mommy thoughts
I was getting ready for church today and I wondered why on earth I don't own a striped maxi skirt. If you look at me- mormon 24-year-old mother of twins with a third on the way it just seems like something that should automatically be in my closet. Especially a grey and black one.

Oh brother, where art thou?
Woke up to Addi crying at 6 this morning. That is way too early for my kids to ever be allowed to wake up. I walk in and she says "MOM! I can't find my brother!" So I had to lift her up out of bed and show her he was just snuggled into a corner of his crib she couldn't see. She calmed down and got really tired and went right back to sleep. So my question, was she worried about her brother, or worried that her brother was getting to do something spectacular that she wasn't?;)

A day at the park!
I'm finally getting a couple of days in a row where I'm feeling good. Not that I was super sick or anything my first trimester, but as one pregnancy update email put it, "You will find that your get up and go has gotten up and left." Yep, pregnancy fatigue got me bad this time. But the kids were troopers and we watched lots of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and are two weeks away from finishing the first trimester which means more and more good days ahead.
But since today was a good day we decided to to something wonderfully fun, enjoy the fall weather, and go to the park. I have not been doing very good practicing with my DSLR camera I got for my birthday, so I took it along and tried out some of the different settings to see what I could get working. It was a blast and my kids are dang cute- so here are the results. All of them. ;)

Wes ate all of his breakfast like he usually does, then I gave both kids some of the Krispy kremes we bought yesterday. He has now finished two and a half an keeps asking for more. I'm debating my want to see how many the kid will down versus my dislike of cleaning up throw up if he can't stop himself....

Having a dance party with my kids, and Addi tries to climb up on the table to dance on it. I told her no, and she says "Grandma says WOO! WOO! when I dance on the table." Grandma Rachel, you're going to be in trouble with her dad when he hears that one!;)

Weston got in trouble for getting into the garbage and started crying. Addi took his hand, sat him on the couch, put her arm around him and kept telling him, "It's ok brother. It's ok." I just LOVE twins!

Addi: PEPSI!
Me: Absolutely not!
Addi: Daddy do!
I hope she means daddy has Pepsi with breakfast and not daddy gives her Pepsi with breakfast;)

Woke up this morning to Wes jumping up and down in his crib yelling "oof-balls, oof-balls, oof-balls!" Since I usually walk into their room and say "Good morning goof-balls," I think he was ready to get out of bed. Have I ever mentioned how much I love two-year-olds! So funny!

This morning Addison decided we were all having graham crackers and chocolate milk for breakfast. Not only did she INSIST on them for her self, she insisted on them for Weston and I too. Poor kid just keeps wondering why he can't eat his cereal in peace! What a bossy little thing!
Doesn't it just make you crazy when your children turn out just like you?;)

Addi kept throwing her milk off of her tray this morning and signing for cookie and milk. We NEVER have cookies for breakfast, so I was so confused why she was asking, then she finally pointed to the Nesquik on the counter. She wanted chocolate in her milk and cookie was the only sign she knows that was close to it!

So I decided Wes needed a haircut. I got out the clippers and cut his hair WAY too short. Sorry buddy.... I'll get better as you grow up... at least you still look cute with a bad hair cut when you're one.
